At RentersHub, we are committed to ensuring a smooth and positive move-in experience for all tenants. Please review the following guidelines and considerations before your move-in day:
Thorough Property Inspection: Prior to moving in, we conduct a detailed inspection of the property to document its condition. We encourage tenants to accompany us during this inspection to address any concerns.
Lease Agreement Review: Before signing the lease agreement, tenants are advised to carefully review the terms and conditions, including rent payment details, maintenance responsibilities, and any property-specific rules.
Rent Payment and Key Collection: Rent payment and key collection instructions will be provided prior to move-in. Please adhere to these instructions to ensure a seamless transition.
Utilities Setup: It is the responsibility of the tenant to ensure that utilities such as water, electricity, gas, and internet are set up in their name prior to move-in.
Move-Out Policy
When it's time to move out, we want to ensure the process is efficient and transparent. Here's what you need to know:
Notice Period: Tenants are required to provide [X] days' notice before moving out. This allows us to plan for property inspections and prepare for new tenants.
Property Cleanliness: Prior to moving out, tenants are expected to return the property in a clean and well-maintained condition. This includes cleaning appliances, carpets, and common areas.
Final Inspection: We will conduct a final inspection of the property to assess its condition. Any damages or cleaning requirements will be documented, and deductions may be made from the security deposit if necessary.
Security Deposit Return: After the move-out inspection, your security deposit will be returned, minus any applicable deductions. Deductions may include damages beyond normal wear and tear or unpaid rent.
Lease Termination: Please ensure you complete all required paperwork and formalities to terminate your lease agreement properly. This includes returning keys and providing your forwarding address.
Utilities and Services: Tenants are responsible for canceling or transferring utilities and services out of their name upon move-out.
